I will be in China from 10/31 to 11/7 and Thailand from 11/8 to 11/23. I won't have access to email, phone, or voicemail during this time. I'll try to get some interesting photography while I'm away though.

On weekends, I volunteer at the Greenhill Human Society as a Cattery Companion. It's a wonderful environment for cats and makes for a relaxing escape from busy, every day life. Today I finally remembered to bring my camera in.

Friend and fellow Digital Arts alum, Johnny Nguyen, has featured my photo of the Seattle Space Needle on the site he's working on, Heart of Washington.
The Heart of Washington carries stickers and apparel that demonstrate Washingtonians' state pride.

Yesterday I conducted my first "real" time lapse test. The first shot runs a little long, and the second shot has dust on the lens, but I'm more or less satisfied with it. The next challenge will be finding a more interesting subject, and carrying out a wider variety of shots. I should also remember to turn off Auto White Balance and set the lens to Manual Focus in the future. Cudos to Trash80 for the soundtrack.
